Uncle Lloyd said, they had been planning this reunion with Great Grandma Rees for three years. All the brothers and Judy were together for the first time in three years. A couple of us were able to get together for dinner. Steve and Sherry and Mom at Bandana's for barbecue. Craig & Adrian, at Dennis and Barb's for steak on the grill....what a nice evening. We all met Judy and Lloyd as they arrived at the airport in St. Louis. They were just a few hours off their mission when they arrived. We unfortunately gave them little rest before their return to Knoxville but we had an terrific and inspiring reunion and were greatly uplifted by hearing some of their mission experiences and from the opportunity to all be together again. Some of the cousins that we saw include Tim, and new girl friend, Carolyn and Angela, Bret and Kristy, and children and Dave and Katie. It was great to see each of them as they continue to grow and pursue new adventures.
Grandma Rees looks tiny in this photo but though she is shrinking in her old age she is as alert as ever and a has such a wonderful spirit about her. I believe she enjoyed having all the family around her. I know she was happy to see Judy and Lloyd again and I think had a good time with the entire family.
Sharon and I were able to stay at Steve and Sherry's home. What a beautiful home they have and both were so gracious to us in arranging to pick us up from the airport and return as well as letting us stay with them. We are ever thankful for such a supportive family!

Sounds like you had a great visit with everyone in St. Louis. That's neat you got to visit w/Aunt Judy and Uncle Lloyd right after their mission. I'm sure it made you more excited for your mission. Grandma is getting so tiny! Hopefully we can plan a trip to St. Louis soon to see her.
