President Doru

This is a recent group of new missionaries....the last large one we get for a few months. They got off the plane during the late afternoon, went through physicals for their visa application and came back into the office in the evening to collapse. Most hadn't slept much for the past 24 hours. President Doru the Bucharest District president stopped in just as they arrived and I asked him to tell his story about sealing himself into a cargo container which was being shipped to the United States. He settled in Canada where he learned of the Gospel and was baptised. He decided to return to Romania and assist the church in his homeland. He is married and now has three children and is the District President here in Bucharest. This is the first time a new group of missionaries was able to hear his story. He also sang some Romanian songs and provided a warm and appropriate introduction for the new missionaries.
