Life after our Mission

We arrived home in time for Christmas and enjoy sharing this special time with as many family members as possible. In addition to holiday activities, we were able to take a trip to Arizona and Driggs to visit family members. Each of our trips to visit children and grandchildren have helped to formulate lasting memories. In the several weeks following our mission we made a difficult decision to move to Arizona. We look forward to being near Les and Kate and families but, will miss Utah and the families there as well as those of our children who still have close ties to Utah and who we may miss seeing on their trips back. But, as we considered our circumstances and our lives going forward at this time, we felt this was a good move for us.
Pictures: (1) We arrived home in time to attend a reception for Angela, Craig's daughter. Carolyn has since married as well, which leave all of his children married. We felt privileged to get to see Craig and Adrianne. Laura, (Steve's daughter )also attended the reception, which allowed us to learn somewhat of their family. (2) We missed Travis and Katelyn's marriage while in Romania, so it was fun to see them. They make a great couple and we wish them well. (3) We were able to visit Suz and family in Driggs. I missed cross country skiing while in Romania and found I was still able to get around but Susan can ski circles around me. Still, the landscape is breathtaking and we enjoyed so much our stay with Kent, Suz and the kids. (4) We have always tried to make as many baptisms and blessings as possible. It is getting more difficult but, enjoyed being a part of Sam's baptism.
