At the end of June we were able to take our long awaited trip to Utah to attend Megan and Zack's sealing and participate in the reception.  The temple experience was wonderful.  This is the best we could do on the photo's  with Megan and the grandparents.  There are more photos at various sites.  We enjoyed our visit staying with Sarah,  were able to see Rebecca, and Susan was also able to come up for the reception.  It was good to see children and grandchildren and to be a part of such a special event.

While in Utah a world wide missionary presentation was made at the Marriott Center on the BYU campus with all but one of the quorum of the twelve in attendance along with all of the missionaries from the Provo, MTC.  It was an historic event which Sharon and I were able to attend in person and which left a lasting impression on us as we prepared for our Church Service Mission.
Sharon and I drove up to Rexburg for our BYUI training which included a session at the Rexburg Temple located at the top of the hill from the main campus.  It is certainly an imposing symbol to have associated with a major college campus.  We enjoyed our training, met some wonderful people and came away with a very positive impression of the school and the work in which we will be engaged.
When we returned we helped with some baby sitting for Kate and Kyle and Amy and Jake while both couples traded places with personal get away trips.  Each cared for the other's children while the grandparents filled in some of the gaps.  Here are photo's of Amy's children enjoying the Arizona sun for the first time.  We enjoyed getting to know the kids.  We also had Rich's dog for the same time while they were in Utah.
While in Idaho, we were able to visit Jackson Hole and there met Morgan and also saw Sophia who are there for the summer staying with their Dad.
We  also had a Missionary social while in Jackson Hole and took a wagon ride up the canyon and held a dutch oven cook out with cowboy entertainment.  This was a great activity.
We were able to care for Katie's little baby Landon.  He reminded us so much of our little ones which made his stay really enjoyable.  He seemed to like the attention he got from his grandparents.  In all, this period in our life has been filled with memorable family experience for which we are truly grateful.  We can feel the blessings of the Lord in our lives and through the experiences we share with our children and their beautiful families.
