This isn’t such a great photo, but you get the idea. Sharon and I drove down to Tucson this morning to attend the temple. The Gilbert temple has been closed for cleaning. It was a little over one and a half hour drive on the old highway. With the rains we’ve had the dessert scenery way terrific. Purple and yellow wild flowers lined he road, with an array of cactus and sage rocks and views of the mountains. This was our first trip to Tucson and it turned out to be quite rewarding. This is a smaller temple but really beautiful. We met a couple from Gilbert who took this photo. Before leaving we enjoyed a wonderful lunch at “First Watch”. ...nice day!
