The month of January is quickly passing by. We have had a mild winter so far including a couple of days this week with sun and 50 degree weather. Bucharest is a busy place with cars, busses, above and below ground train systems, and crowded sidewalks but, it is still nice to get out once in a while. This Saturday we were able to visit a large park just one subway stop from the office. Within the park is an outdoor museum in which they have preserved many of the historic homes that have been a part of the Romanian culture over the past centuries. They are truly unique !The the museum has done a very good job in preserving them and placing them in an attractive setting. It is one of the better sites we have visited since we have been in Bucharest.
