These are a couple of shots that I thought represent some of our recent activities. The two young moms are President and Sister Lundberg's daughters. They showed up each with a new baby, Sister Lundberg had not seen. When they arrived they placed the babies on the ground in front of the Lundberg's front door, rang the door bell and ran. She opened the door only to see these two babies on the ground each with tee shirts that read "Hi grandma, nice to meet you". President Lundberg was in on the surprise and helped with the arrangements. This evening they came to the office with the Josh and their parents for a roast beef dinner, compliments of Sister Turner.
Your Mom has gone through about three umbrellas now. The ones we've bought don't hold up in the wind but, they help during the several rain showers we've experienced on trips to church, like in this case, and around town. This was taken at the bus stop which we use to make the final leg to church. We start each Sunday with about a 10 minute walk to the subway station, then five stops to a transfer to this bus stop and, then on to church. It takes us about 45 minutes to make the trip. I don't know who the stranger is peering at the camera from behind your Mom.
Sister Turner directed a Book of Mormon fireside. It turned out to be a success with several of the Romanian members participating. It helped build their faith and testimony. Here are some of the characters.
The interior shot is of a book store we like to visit near one of the universities near the center of town. It is housed in a building that used to be a children's theater. It is a beautiful building but, in need of restoration. At one time Bucharest was a grand city with so many buildings like this.

Can't believe you'll be home in a few weeks. Will it be difficult to adjust back to a quarter mile drive to church from your current 45 minute commute? I'm pretty sure Dad thwarted a potential purse snatching with his timely photo of Mom in the city street.
