This has been a busy week. We finally got our office computer virus problem under control, if not totally solved. We are reformating the computers now and hopefully will have them all in conformance with Church standards. It seems we have had some creative elders who have added some programs and made modifications that don't really fit into the church program.
We held a Senior Missionary conference this week, with 24 in attendance including the Mission President and His wife. We met at the mission home, with lunch and program and concluded with dinner at the Marriot. It was great to meet many of the couples we had only spoken with on the phone. They are all experienced in the Church and have been making a terrific contribution to the mission effort here in Romania. Many are involved with the young single adult program, CES, humanitarian and public relations. It was uplifting to hear the success stories each of the couples has experienced. Our second transfer takes place this coming week. Each mission transfer is a milestone for us but, it also represents extra activity, with new Elders and Sisters arriving into the mission, new companionships, leadership roles and area assignments. This will be a busy week which means the time will fly by. We seem to be settling into our mission routine better now and have a little knowledge under our belt. Hopefully, we can be more productive as we move forward.
The photos are of the followig: The people in the costumes dressed up and paraded the streets of Historic Bucharest for Bucharest days, in celebration of the city's 500 year anniversary. The Photo of cars and busses is a typical intersection scene. When the light changes and the left turn vehicles and converging traffic all meet. Just add the sound of everyone honking at the same time and you get the picture. One day it was so tangled no one could move unto a policeman arrived to direct the traffic. Josh is our Mission President's son. He is a bright and active boy and reminds us a little of Parker. We have enjoyed having him around.

Maybe on the 1000 year celebration they'll finally have the traffic lights coordinated! Glad you're getting used to the routine and starting to feel more comfortable. How's the language coming along? We enjoy the updates and pics.
