Neighbor little girl Amy on her baptism day

Sharon and I attended the baptism for the Peterson's little girl, Cadie who lives next door. She is one of several little girls in our neighborhood who have befriended Sharon and me, One or more of them visit our home almost on a daily basis to receive a hug, play with our dog and probably most importantly to get a Werther's butterscotch hard candy from the candy dish in our living room. The girls names are: Cadie, Carley, Lilly, Jordie, Jade, Amie (Sisters in Bishop Hipp's family), and Lorin, with a few other friends who show up from time to time. When we walk, arrive home in the car, or are outside working on the yard and see one or more of these girls, we always get a greeting. They sometime like to visit and talk and Sharon lets them play with our indoor games and puzzles. We have a globe in our living room they like to spin and pretend they will one day serve a mission in the country which they touch when they stop the globe from spinning. All of these girls have been baptized this past past year and we were able to attend most of the services. We feel a special spirit when we are around these girls and have been blessed through our association with them.
