Thanksgiving 2018

We had a wonderful time with families who came to visit from Utah, including Amy, Rebecca, Sarah and children.  Rich went to California to visit Adam, and Kim stayed in Utah to be close to her family and Mike and family were not able to come down.  But, we had about 42 people for dinner with the six families who were able to come, plus Mitch and his wife and girl friends of Tanner and Morgan.  Drew and Lindsey were also in town and came over to announce that they are expecting.  It was a lot of fun.  Sharon and I worked on the yard, and plannrd for tables and chairs to seat every one and coordinate the food.  Everyone contributed making it a true family event.  These photos show somewhat the seating arrangement for everyone with the tables located on the patio outside.  We put the men and ladies at separate tables and had tables for the college age kids, for the high school kids and then a separate table for the younger children.  We let those seated at each table go seperately to pick up food from the kitchen serving area starting with the adults and working down to the little ones in reverse of the way we usually serve and everyone seemed to get fed and had a good time.  We have so much to be thankful for as we are blessed with the bounties of life in our land of America.
