Snow in the mountains of Arizona and close to home

It was sunny today, but still a little chilly with the high around 55.  We have had rain and snow in the high country for the past few days.  The snow in Flagstaff and in Show Low and other Northern cities was at an all time high, in fact it set a 100 year record in Flagstaff and snow was reported in Scottsdale as well.  We have some dessert  area just outside our subdivision and so we took the opportunity to have our photo taken with Superstition Mountain in the background with snow showing.  You don't get much of a view, but you get the idea.  We are excited for the moisture.  Someone reported that we have had enough precipitation to actually end our drought which has existed for a number of years.  Hopefully we can fill up the reservoirs and keep up the water content for some years to come.
